Book Review- Maya by Aamer Baig

Book Name- Maya: Celebration of Love
Author- Aamer Baig
Publisher- Notion Press Publications
Genre- Romantic Fiction
Pages- 134
Price- ₹210

BLURB- Ziva never thought that Aryan would be the "definition" of her life until he made her the "Maya" of his life. She jumped with happiness at his love; she felt emotional when Aryan proposed to her in the shadow of the Taj Mahal and she rejoiced with Aryan on the beds of Gulmarg, relishing moments spent at the Himalayan mountains. She loved each and every second, cherishing Aryan's love in the Falaknuma Palace.

But Maya's feelings for Aryan were temporary, and she was not confident enough to make a decision about Aryan. Aryan is unable to understand her mixed feelings for him and instead brings Manali into his life. How does Aryan get his princess back in this emotional journey? What did Aryan do to treat Maya as the princess of his life? Why did Maya play around with Aryan's feelings when he loved her so much?

THIS STORY IS A BLEND OF REAL EMOTIONS AS THE STORY IS BASED ON REAL LIFE INCIDENTS.

Have you ever celebrated your love for someone? Have you ever been sleepless for a person who always disturbs your thoughts? Have you ever shown the person you love how life with you would be, with no strings attached?

Book Review- Vizag Blue by Anil C S Rao

Book Name- Vizag Blue
Author- Anil C. S. Rao
Publisher- Cyberwit.com
Genre- Graphic Novella
Pages- 50
Price- ₹99

REVIEW- Vizag Blue is a Graphic Novel written by Anil C. S. Rao. First of all, i'd like to Congratulate him for writing a Graphic book which indian authors hestitate to hassle with.
I received this book from Kalamos Literary Services in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Story of our book revolves around Kalpana, who stops speaking with anyone. Her Doctor send her to her beach house with Usha, her nurse. Usha tries hard to break the bubble with Kalpana but to no avail. One day she finds Kalpana, naked on the beach. How did she reach there? Why had Kalpana stopped talking? To get these answers you will have to read this book.

Author has tried to serve a psychological  thriller which he does beautifully but fails to present it. Characters and Storyline seem scattered and needs retouch. Storyline fails to hold the readers. Ending is written very hurriedly.

Cover is beautiful and attracts the readers. Title is appropriate and catchy.

Altogether, Vizag Blue is a beautiful attempt by Mr. Rao but failed to handle it properly.

Book Review- Bharathi And Her Theory For Everything by Anil C. S. Rao

Book Name- Bharathi And Her Theory For Everything
Author- Anil C.S.Rao
Genre- scientific fiction
Publisher- Cyberwit.com
Pages- 100
Price- ₹200/ $15

BLURB- To Bharathi, this was utterly horrific. If it were indeed the case then she was conceived the same way she saw Aryaraj molest older inmates in the encampment. As a result of this mischievous Roopa s revelation, Bharathi fell into a depression for (she had counted) forty days and forty nights. In her dreams she recalled a very ancient story Roopa had shared to her a year prior: about a Noah who bought two of every living thing on his arc when The World had been flooded in God s anger at human being s conduct on Earth. What would God think of now with the semi-robotic people that now inhabited Aryraraj s World? And worse: who was this God? Aryaraj often professed that he was eligible for this status or title.

REVIEW- Story is based on Bharathi and her travels from past to future of 2070. She drifts away into her world and story moves as per her will. Along with Bharati Arun Rao's life is also narrated. Arun is writer married to Reena who works at Harbour General Hospital and gets kidnapped. As story continues we discover who kidnapped Reena. Who is Aryaraj and what is Ayuhuasca.

Title of this book is long but catchy. Cover could be improved in next edition of this book. Blurb is not given on the back side of cover. Overall First Impression of our book fails to create impact on readers.

Narration is fruitful but story remains confusing till few pages. After which it flows smoothly. New technological terms used are hilariously amazing. Story is focused on technology only and lacks the literature which can be a turn off for some readers. Language is easy to comprehend with perfectly fine font.

Overall Bharathi And Her Theory For Everything is sci-fi novel which promises different but amazing concept but fails to put forward the content in easy way.

RATING-
Book Cover and Title- 3/5
Language and Narration- 3/5
Storyline and Plot- 2/5

Final Rating- 2/5

Inspired from real life cases, The Monsoon Murders is a fast-paced detective novel, taking the Indian crime fiction genre to mysterious depths.

Book Cover and Title- Title is apt and goes with the story. It hints us about the content of the book. Cover shows a lady with umbrella which is designed beautifully and catches attention of readers. Blurb is short and upto mark.

Language and Narration- Language of our book is lucid and with fast paced narration it goes well till the end. Book is well edited and grammatically perfect.

Characters- All the characters play their role perfectly as per the story. Though with extra description it could have been better but it does not affect the reading. I liked the way Mr. Parmanandka portrayed characters and i went from hating to loving them.
